Coke tourney gets K1bn

ZAMBIAN Breweries Plc has pumped the same amount as last year’s K1.1billion towards the hosting of this year’s 19th edition of the Coca-Cola under-17 Secondary School football tournament that kicks off in August involving 11 schools from all the 10 provinces.

And Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education N. Wilombe the Government would always be committed to activities that involved youth development programmes in the country.

Coca-cola marketing director John Cockran said in Lusaka yesterday during presentation of the cheque to Zambia Secondary School Sports Association (ZSSSA) president Chipangano Tembo at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) that his company will continue partnering with sports development in the country / times of zambia
