Muscian JK lands in the UK to perform after 5 years

Zambian Music Maestro Jordan Katembula, AKA, JK lands for performances in the United Kingdom for the first time in five years.

JK boarded British Airways, arrived through Gatwick Airport on Wednesday morning and told UKZAMBIANS, exclusively, that he is in UK to give his fans an unforgettable extravaganza.

Wonder boy, one of the creators of contemporary Zambian music said ‘tell my fans that JK has not been to the UK for 5 years, he brings new and old material to entertain’.

JK has two confirmed performances in London, on Friday, 27th April at London popular venue Oasis, Barking in East London and Saturday, 5th May in Birmingham.

He told UKZAMBIANS that his fans will not be disappointed as he will perform non-stop 3-hour extravaganza from a collection of hits from all his 6 albums.

Asked how he would manage to go a 3-hour non-stop performance, an exuberant JK responded ‘ because I keep myself in top-notch physical state’.

‘Fan in the UK have not heard me perform hits like “Kapilipili” “I am a Survive” and others that I have produced in the last five years, tell them not to miss’.

He said ‘I will perform hits from every one of my album to my 6th’.


He revealed to UKZAMBIANS that, while in the UK, he will be launching his latest Album.

JK released his latest video for his song “Pistol” . This song features Ethiopian singer Hanni, who was a participant in last years ‘Big Brother Africa’.

JK is known for making great videos and this one is no exception. The concept, dances, lighting and the costumes are all top quality!

He also told UKZAMBIANS exclusively that while in UK he will also shoot a new HD video.

‘I am inviting my fellow Zambians in the UK to come and be part of my video production’.

He said it will be a great honor to have fans feature in his new video.
