BMR continues assessment work at Kabwe

Berkeley Mineral Resources is continuing assessment work on on its resources at the former Kabwe mine site in Zambia.

This is in connection with the pre-feasibility study being completed on all the resources at the project – washplant, leachplant and slags.

It says re-drilling of the slag sections of the stockpiles to provide data for the material contained in the slag stockpiles began today (23 November).

The re-drilling is being carried out with percussion drills necessary to provide assayable samples rather than the auger drills previously employed.

Re-interpretation of the washplant resources has concluded that there is an uplift in the quantity of JORC-compliant washplant tailings resources within the total resources at Kabwe./
