Nkoyas not for the Barotseland agreement
The Nkoya speaking people of western and North Western provinces have called on the government not to recognize the Barotseland Agreement of 1964.
They claim that the agreement does not take into account the existence of other ethnic groups.
Organization National Council Chairperson Edwin Nkomeshya says despite Western Province having the existence of 37 ethnic groupings and only the Lozi’s are recognized by the agreement.
Meanwhile Mr. Nkomeshya has appealed to President Michael Sata to consider turning Kafue district into another province. / end muvitv
