UPND geared to form the next government even without the UPND-PF pact

UPND Copperbelt women vice-woman chairperson Edith Kamanga has said that even without the UPND-PF pact the MMD government would be kicked out of power.

In an interview yesterday(Thursday) Mrs Kamanga said that UPND was geared to form the next government adding that as a woman chairperson she was on the ground to mobilise fellow women to vote out President Rupiah Banda.

“I think the breaking up of the pact is a blessing to the people of Zambia. Mr Sata(the PF leader) is grown up. He is a finished politician who was going to mess up things once voted into office,” she said.

She said UPND women on the Copperbelt province were not worried about the latest political development in the country especially the breaking up of the UPND -PF pact.

“We are very much comfortable, there would a change of government this year, Mr Sata and Rupiah Banda are all old guys they are going,” she said.
