Cavendish University Zambia, in partnership with Cavendish College London starts PhD programmes in Zambia

Zambia Cavendish University will next year introduce Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in Zambia.

Cavendish Group Marketing and Communications Manager, Mwiche Sichone says Zambia stands to benefit from research programmes to be introduced.

She says the university is currently conducting needs assessment seminars to establish people’s wants.

Ms Sichone was speaking during the needs assessment seminar at Mulungushi International Conference in Lusaka on Thursday.

And Dr. Edward Mwelwa of Teleos Leadership Institute in the United States of America says an educated population attracts investment.

Dr. Mwewa says the Cavendish PhD programmes will enhance skills among Zambians and in turn help in luring foreign investments.

Cavendish University Zambia, in partnership with Cavendish College London was registered in Zambia under the Education Act, CAP136, of the Laws of Zambia for the purpose of providing ‘University Education’ in 2004.

At its incorporation, Cavendish University Zambia (CUZ) now the third largest university and the leading private University in the country was set up in partnership with Cavendish College London (CCL).

CCL is part of the London International Education Foundation (LIEF) and Cavendish International institution offering a wide range of Postgraduate, undergraduate, Professional and vocational qualifications at their campus in Central London and in the many other satellite campus located in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Iran at CUI, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bishkek, Uganda and Armenia in the former East Europe.

    I dam a cameroonian based distant learner of the university studying monitoring and evaluation PGD. I did my exams in cameroon more than 2 months ago and till now I have not received my results. What can be the problem.
